The Titans have been let loose and Zeus, king of the gods, had set forth to lock them back up in their prison in Tartarus. Yet, something has gone wrong, for Zeus has not returned and has seemed to have disappeared. The remaining Olympian gods are now in chaos, fighting amongst themselves. Some await Zeus' return as others vie for his throne.
As their war rages on, they have become all to aware of the other pantheons around the world falling as the mortals embrace the false gods known as science and technology. Despite their feuding, the gods banded together and placed a powerful spell on the land. Science and technology would fail. Electricity would not be harnessed, firearms would fail, and all such progress in the name of science would be halted, plunging the world back into archaic times.
The mortals of the land continue to live in a world that time has left behind. Kings and queens rule the land, slaves are traded and oracles speak in whispers of prophecies. As the gods continue to rage on Mount Olympus, the people continue to pray to their patron deities, and the gods answer the prayers that would help them in their petty whims and desires for here in the Isle of Crete, the gods walk amongst the mortals.
