A canon character is a character that already exists in literature, movies, video games, etc. For example, my own character is a canon character. We are not against certain canon characters in the role play, but those ones definitely need to be approved by a GM so that we do not have all-powerful characters running around or characters that break the atmosphere. There is just something about Optimus Prime role playing with Ares that seems like a bad joke.
Also, the roles of the gods are not going to be handed out very lightly. Naturally it would be very easy to get carried away playing one, so we need to be sure you have the experience andthe ability to be fair and a good sport first.
Thank you for your understanding. Any questions can be directed to Ares, God of War as he is our GM assigned to character sheet approvals.

As a general rule of thumb, anime and rpg canons are unplayable. Why? Well, the answer is simple. Having Inuyasha drinking with Sephiroth, or Goku and Frieza playing Beer Pong angainst the Mario Brothers while King Lear and Madame Bovery wait for a rematch, while amusing, detracts from the whole rp enviroment. For the most part, we are here to play our own characters and storylines. That, and I don't feel like wading through loads of old manga because you chose tobwanna play some obscure Japanese betentacled superhero with a popout, sunction cupped tentacle wang and a fire sword given to him by his great Uncle's, Brother's, Cousin's, Nephew's old college roomm ate.
