Eris strode away from the amphitheater looking as if she were lost in thought, what would Matthias find if he were to follow the ring...would it be able to lead him to her temple where the goddess held his wife's spirit? if so then what would he do next....she knew she had to think of a plan and one was forming as she walked
As the disguised goddess passed by the people in the square who were picking up the pieces of shattered stone and seeing if their loved ones were ok she couldn't help but smile to herself, the chaos caused was more then pleasing and it did lighten her mood a bit.
Her mortal girl disguise was one of innocence, the girl 'melody' was about 18 in appearance with long wavy brown hair, it was always up in a sort of messy bun. Her eyes were a darker blue and skin was milky leaning toward pale, as she passed people they would nod or smile in greetings, if they knew the truth they would part and not look at her at all.
Eris or 'melody' as she was at the moment stopped at the fountain that was untouched and she would sit on the stone playing in the water a little as she watched the goings on, and plotted.

Aphrodite walked into the square and gasped in something between disappointment and frustration when she saw the destruction. The goddess of beauty didn't take to messes very well and by the looks of it, it was no mere mortal or mortals that caused this mess. She stepped over some debris and took in the scene a little more, a frown finding its place on her face.
"Who did this?!" she called out. If one didn't know better, they may have confused her disgust with concern. She saw the townsfolk around her look up and one timidly answered that a monster had caused all the commotion. Another chimed in saying it had been driven back by a soldier. Her nature made her curious about this mysterious soldier but that was for another time. "Clear this mess," she instructed. "I can see to its beauty after that." Her eyes scanned the crowd, wondering where the monster came from when she saw the girl at the fountain.

Eris' disguised deep blue eyes turned to see the goddess of love standing there looking so...distrought...the thought turned her smile in to a smirk, she ran her small pale hand through the water as she watched Aphrodite order the mortals to clean up the mess, 'she hates a mess huh' Eris thought to herself. she canted her head to the side as the love goddess turned her attention to see Eris sitting there, she wondered if the goddess had what it took to see though her disguise with little ease, some could and some it took concentration
The pretty looking girl smiled at Aphrodite, she tried to look as meek and helpless as she could but that was a bit difficult for the goddess of chaos

Aphrodite narrowed her eyes as she saw the girl smile back at her. She wasn't the type that was easy to fool. It wasn't impossible either, but a girl sitting at the fountain and smiling at her amidst townspeople trying to get back to a level of sanity seemed a little out of place. She could only think of one person would absolutely revel in such an atrocious mess. Yes, Aphrodite saw no beauty in messes and chaos. It disgusted her.
She held out a hand and a dove flew down and perched on her finger. She delicately stroked the bird's breast before coercing it into flight again. The bird took off and went to land beside the girl at the fountain, where it stared up at her, cocking its head as birds do. It cooed, and mortals around them would hear only the cooing of a dove. But Aphrodite was certain, the girl would hear her voice.
"You just aren't happy unless you are destroying something, aren't you?" Aphrodite's voice came out of the fowl. "There will be nothing left of Crete at this rate." Aphrodite stood where she was, watching the girl and the bird as she manipulated the dove, her eyes locked on them and a look of irritation apparent on her face.

Eris gave a small chuckle as she heard Aphrodite speak through the small animal, the goddess' eyes shifted from their dark blue to the normal icy blue they usually are and she turned her gaze to the other goddess before her. Eris gave a shrug and spoke low enough Aphrodite could hear but no other mortal could "i do enjoy a good bit of destruction and bloodshed yes that is no secret but you speak as if it was my fault the town was attacked" she continued to play in the water "you shouldn't look so irritated though dear...it gives one wrinkles"
The goddess gazed around at the others as if looking for someone then turned her gaze back to Aphrodite

Aphrodite sighed as she shifted her weight to one hip and folded her arms. Her turquoise eyes never Eris for a second. Her lips never parted as the dove continued to carry her voice.
"I am not your dear," she spoke sternly. She did not let just anyone that close to her. "And if it was not you, then who else leaves such destruction behind them with each foot step?" She raised a brow as though waiting for an answer, noticing Eris seemed to be waiting on someone

Eris shrugged at the question "not every bad thing that happens is my fault but i far be it for me to let such destruction go unappreciated" she flicked some water at the bird then stretched "what brings you out among such .... rubble? hardly a place for one like yourself to be"

Aphrodite looked around a the mess and frowned. Such destruction was no where near beautiful in her mind. And she was not fond of ugly things, as her marriage would attest. She sighed heavily before putting it out of her mind for now and looking back.
"I am just passing through on my way to the temple," she said. "I have some business to attend to." She did not elaborate further. She didn't see much of a need.

Eris kept her eyes on the goddess keeping her usual smirk on her lips, Eris knew Aphrodite hated anything she deemed ugly and it amused Eris "ah yes the temple perhaps ill come by there later if things don't pan out here" she kept her words vague too

Aphrodite looked around once more and made a sound of disgust. The people would rebuild as always and she would have to wait but she pondered coverig everything in rose vines when she was done. She didn't notice anything or anyone unusual in her last gaze around the plaza. Looking back at Eris she merely spoke a few more words.
"Try not cause too much trouble," she said in a seemingly neutral tone. For now, the goddess had other matters to attend to. She would attempt to walk back in the direction of the temple if allowed.

Eris would bat her eyes all innocent like "there is no such thing as too much trouble, these mortals need someone to push them to worship, if they feel comfortable they become complacent" she nods almost believing that herself but not quite. Eris watched the goddess walk off and chuckles to herself
